Business Structures
All information presented in this course will relate to business structures which are governed by the law of New Jersey, since our nonprofit public charity is registered and operated in the state of New Jersey. However, if you would like to know about business structures in other states, please leave us an email about which state you would like to start the business and some basic information about your new business. New Jersey offers the following business structures:
Sole Proprietorship
Limited Liability Company (LLC)
General Partnership
Corporation
Corporation (and optional S Corp tax designation)
Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)
